Program

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at FIU is a membership-based program. We offer various educational learning opportunities and socially engaging activities throughout the year.  Visit our online platform for the latest schedule.

Registration in advance is required as some activities have capacity restrictions and lectures may sell out.  Members are given priority and receive discounted pricing on most classes.

Locations

Classes are offered in-person at various locations in South Florida and virtually via Zoom.

  • A laptop with a virtual class via Zoom.

    In-Person and Virtual Options

    Live, in-person options are offered throughout South Florida. We also offer virtual lectures via Zoom, and some programming is live-streamed from our classroom. Free Zoom training is available.

    North Miami

    Enjoy the thrill of being on campus again! Our home is at FIU's Biscayne Bay campus in North Miami.  For in-person lectures be sure to note the location as we also serve the surrounding communities.

    Miami Shores

    Some programming is offered in Miami Shores at the Brockway Memorial Library and Community Center.

    Aventura

    At least twice a month, lecture options are available to attend in Aventura. Most lectures take place on Mondays at 2:00 pm in this area; however, it is best to review the current schedule for all options.

    Pembroke Pines

    On Tuesdays at 10:30 am, we offer a lecture at the Pembroke Pines Jewish Center. Please note, no lecture is offered on the second Tuesday of each month. All are welcome.

    Miramar

    Periodically, courses are offered at the FIU at I-75 campus in Miramar. Based on demand, programming will expand to this facility. To register, call 305-919-5900 or enroll online.
