The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at FIU aspires to become a life-enhancing institution for our members, deeply embedded in the landscape of the surrounding Miami-Dade community. Always an advocate of personal enrichment through educational enhancement, OLLI's mission is to promote continued personal growth and education throughout our later years. There are broad cognitive and societal benefits related to personal enrichment programs and the institute aims to deliver these benefits to its members. Thanks to the generous support from the Bernard Osher Foundation, OLLI at FIU joins a prestigious network of more than 120 institutes on university and college campuses across the country.

OLLI at FIU helps you stay engaged mentally and socially with cultural events and tours, as well as with personal enrichment courses in literature, art and music, current events, languages, personal growth and much more. As a member, you will enjoy:
- Engaging courses with expert instructors
- Coffee and conversation with new friends
- Optional membership benefits and discounts
- Scenic surroundings on FIU's Biscayne Bay Campus
- Alternative off-campus locations in Miami Shores
- Convenient access to classrooms
As part of FIU, we also encourage cross-generational learning. Some of our lectures and events are open to FIU students, staff, and faculty. This typically occurs when we collaborate with other departments, identify opportunities that are mutually beneficial for OLLI at FIU members and traditional students, and/or at the request of an instructor.
